Meet Martina Ahlberg, senior lecturer, Physics

Researcher Martina Ahlberg talk about her research in nanomagnetics.

Meet Hans Linderholm, senior lecturer, Earth Sciences

Researcher Hans Linderholm from the Department of Earth Sciences talks about his research in dendrochronology.

Meet Marica Ericson, senior lecturer, Chemistry & Molecular Biology

Researchers Marica Ericsson from the Department of Chemistry and Molecular Biology and Despina Kantere from the Sahlgrenska Academy talk about their biomedical photonic research and the collaboration between the two faculties.

Meet Ingrid Martins Holmberg and Anneli Palmsköld, senior lecturers, Conservation

Researchers Ingrid Martins Holmberg and Anneli Palmsköld at the Department of Conservation talk about their Re:heritage research project.

Meet Friederike Eimer, PhD Student, and Henrik Pavia, professor, Marine Sciences

Researchers Friederike Eimer and Henrik Pavia of the Department of Marine Sciences are growing seaweed at the Lovén Centre in Tjärnö. The project is called Sweaweed and their ambition is that the seaweed will be used to extract different compounds, such as useful oils and bioplastics.

Meet David Bolin, Senior Lecturer, Mathematical Sciences

David Bolin’s research area is spatial statistics, i. e. analysis of data collected at different spatial locations. The application fields are numerous and diverse, at both micro and macro level, and David is involved in such seemingly different projects as modelling of the surface material in drug tablets as how to statistically correct climate models.

A passion for the diversity of species

Alexandre Antonelli wants to understand how biological diversity has changed over time and space.

She is searching for answers to questions that have not yet been asked

Microscopy and tailor-made micrometre-wide channels are some of the cornerstones of biologist Caroline Beck Adiels’ research.
